it’s been a while since my last post here and since the year’s almost done, i might as well give justice to it by writing one last post for 2k7.. =)

it’s been a good year for me, needless to say. as usual, my January was a loser [pfft, i've been having hellish Januarys since i don't know when] but anyhoots, here are the top reasons why 2007 is one of the best years so far..
[1] my job!!! it’s been a blast since the day i was hired, and it’s 
getting better and better as months fly by.. of course there are the usual i’m-so-toxic-i-need-a-freakin’-life dramas once in a while, but generally, it’s good, good, good.. *shoutouts to all GSK peeps*
[2] friends: being the people person that i am, aherm, i managed to 
make and gain new friends this year… especially at work. nothing beats a late-night pig-out after a hellish day.. thanks to my shopping/movie buddies lia and cha, i’ve learned the art of haggling at glorietta haha! *cheers to more popcorn*
[3] penguins & imong: damn, i never thought we’d come this far… what used to be a group of people coming over at my place on sunday nights for diabetic doses turned into a wonderful friendship that will last me until my dying day.. naks!
panget: thanks for being a great ninang to gigi [may she rest in peace] and you’re welcome for all the torture you’ve gone through with us hehe.. i can’t forget the day we got lost on the way to the hospital.. hello quiapo!!
bum8: thanks to you for all those friday-and-saturday-night gimmicks, i’ve gone broke haha! i can’t forget that night at starbucks where we were doing the math of all our expenses for a month.. pfft.
nesta: thanks to you and your shocking news, nahuli tayo tuloy sa buendia. hahaha! and thank you for the laughter when you forgot your wallet and got stranded on your way home while we were at CCP laughing our guts out..
imong: ahhh, my dear imong. let’s make our dream come true: traffic nights with jazzy and imong.. and then your segment of mr. love.. haha! what will i do without your it-all-makes-sense analysis of my so-called life. *cheers to more mr. kabab*
[4] my 24th birthday: ahhh, the memories are still fresh! it’s been a blast, and i can’t wait for next year. hahaha! thanks to all the people who made it.. see you all on my 25th!
[5] the genes!! gee, a year out of college and here i am, still going chums with my family back in elbi.
undin: you’re the best monstrous, gay orgmate ever.. and most importantly, you’re the best monster that could ever come close to being a wonderful friend.. despite your hideous face, i love you to bits. now go to the nearest parlor and get yourself a makeover… if it’s possible. heheh!
[6] old friends: it’s such a nostalgia to look back on the days when you were young [fine, matanda na 'ko] and remember the people you shared drunken nights with.. i look forward to more years getting drunk with you guys! you know who you are!
[7] potpot and friends: this year, i finally hit it off the road.. never mind being prone to stupid MMDA and heartless MAPSA, potpot and i were still able to get ourselves out of it.. sometimes giving in to kotong, sometimes getting away with just pure charm. hahaha! to all the kids: pasha, fatita, hippy and of course miro, you guys are goddamn lucky to be in my ride hahaha! go pimp it! =)
[8] family: every year is a good year with family. despite the ups 
and downs, family will always be family.. go kapamilya! hwehe! it’s been a memorable year, as my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniv, and it was a blast.. i never thought i’d see the day my parents will get married again.. cool.
[9] self-overhaul: i realized and learned a lot of things this year. and i am thankful for everything that conspired for me to learn those lessons. life-changing, indeed. to all the people i was with during those times, and to those people who taught me [even without their knowing] i thank you from the bottom of my heart.. and you better be there next year. haha!
[10] lastly, this year wouldn’t be complete [and good] if it wasn’t for HIM. having met him was one of the weirdest things that happened in my life and i’m freakin’ glad we’ve met… and i will never be the same again. that’s all i can say for now. =)
